Summary: Seo Nyuh Shi Dae, also known as Girl’s Generation,or SNSD, debuted on August 5, 2007. SNSD is made of nine members, from oldest to youngest are TaeYeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, HyoYeon, YuRi, SooYoung, YooNa, and SeoHyun. By 2009 when they released the song “Gee,” they were rising in popularity, Gee becoming number 1 within two days. They began to get into the Japanese music scene in late 2010. We would listen to their songs, but we really didn’t start caring about SNSD until only recently. We knew Tiffany was the one that would mess up on choreography and got in trouble often, and YooNa was the one that every. Single. One. Of our male Korean friends liked. Thanks to watching a bit of We Got Married, we also learned what SeoHyun was like, as well. Probably around summer of 2011, we decided to finally learn their names. (Velexa has succeeded; I’m getting there… very, very slowly.) Before, we didn’t care much about them simply because they were girls, and we weren’t attracted to girls. We were only interested in the boy bands. We decided it was time to get to know the girl groups as well, and we’ve really grown to like SNSD.
